Dr. Christy F. Jaillet
Optometrist
A native Georgian, Dr. Jaillet has focused her professional career on primary vision care and LASIK co-management. She strives to provide state of the art eye care in an efficient and ethical manner. Dr. Jaillet began practicing Optometry in 1997 after graduating from the New England College of Optometry.
Dr. Jaillet practiced in many different clinical modalities including private practice, commercial optical establishments and laser vision centers. During her career, she realized that there were practices with strong clinical focuses and then there were optical shops with great selections of eye wear, but there were very few, if any, locations that excelled in both. This was the genesis of Oculist Optique.
In July of 2009, Dr. Jaillet founded Oculist Optique with the simple goal of providing the best vision care with the best selection of eyewear in North Fulton County.
Shannon Beiter
Clinical Director
Shannon has five years of eye care experience. She has worked in many different eye care facilities which include Ophthalmic practices that specialize in Lasik, Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery. Shannon has been the Contact Lens and Glasses Specialist in many practices due to her patience, kind demeanor and eye for fashion.
Shannon is a native Upstate New Yorker, and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has worked in eye care facilities all over the country, including New York, Texas, North Carolina and Georgia.
Leslie Petrey
Optometric Technician
Leslie is new to the world of optometry yet brings with her an abundance of experience in excellent customer service. Leslie has a degree in Marketing from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. She has lived all over the United States and has found herself doing many different things very successfully.
Growing up Air Force, home is wherever her loved ones are, including Colorado, California, Florida and Minnesota.
Elizabeth (Muffy) Carswell
Optometric Team Member
Muffy is a California girl who grew up in Marietta. She brings a sharp eye for fashion and can help anyone look their best in the latest eyewear. Muffy is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at Kennesaw State University. She is also the perfect person to add fun to your next visit to the eye doctor!
